TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR AN ERASMUS STUDY MOBILITY, A STUDENT MUST:

  • have passed all the exams, the last session included (at the moment of the selection);
  • have a grade point average of at least 7.5;
  • in case of the former Erasmus beneficiaries, they must have benefited from maximum 8 months of training course Erasmus (study and/or practice) throughout the same study cycle;
  • attest the language skills for the language of study in the institution for which he applies, either through a certificate, or through the transcript of records, as follows:
  • the minimum grade/ score accepted (for minimum level B1) must be equal with 80% of the maximum grade/ score (e.g., min. grade 8/10, 16/20 or good, in case of qualifiers) – except for internationally acknowledged certificates (such as DELF, DALF, Cambridge, TOEFL, IELTS, DELE, Goethe), obtained for a minimum level B1, for which any score is accepted;
  • except for the students who study the language of the partner university as specialty within their university studies, case in which the language skills will be attested through the academic transcript of records;
  • obtain at least 7 at the interview within the selection carried out at the faculty.

 

Mandatory documents for the application file:

  • Curriculum Vitae (to be kept in the selection file of the student);
  • Motivation letter (1 page), testing the mobility options of the candidate (to be kept in the selection file of the student);
  • the language certificate / high school transcript of records (a copy of which will be kept in the selection file of the student);
  • a form statement attesting that he did not benefit from any previous Erasmus study mobility (to be kept in the selection file of the student);
  • the students at master or doctoral studies will include the academic results at the level/s of study already graduated (transcript of records and degree obtained at the level of bachelor’s studies and master, as applicable) – (the documents will be kept in copies in the selection file of the student);
  • The excerpt within the transcript of records for the level of study in which the candidate is enrolled at the moment of the selection will not be requested by the candidates, but issued by the secretariat of the Faculty of (only with the signature of the faculty) and annexed to the file by the Erasmus coordinator;
  • Additional documents, for students non-citizens of an EU state:
  • a copy of the residence permit;
  • a certificate at the faculty where he is enrolled, to attest the capacity as full-time student;
  • the proof of a Romanian warrant, employed and holder of a bank account in Romania (a form statement);
  • Optional documents (the selection commission at the level of faculty decides if they are or not requested):
  • Study project, to state the concrete objective of the candidate and the expected results;
  • Recommendation from a teacher;
  • Degrees, certificates, articles published, relevant for the student’s specialty and which may represent an advantage for the candidate in question.

All the documents will be written in Romanian, and the documents under points (a), (b), (j) will also be presented in the language of study at the university/universities chosen by the applicant.

Incomplete files will be rejected.

THE LANGUAGE CERTIFICATE

If you do not have a language certificate yet, there are several possibilities to have such a test in Iași, as follows:

  • The French Cultural Institute Iași, Bd. Carol I, No. 26 (French);
  • The German Cultural Centre Iași, Str. Lascăr Catargi, No.38 (German);
  • The Cultural Centre of Latin America and Caribbean Iaşi, Building O – Alexandru Ioan Cuza University (Spanish);
  • The Centre of Foreign Languages of the Faculty of Letters;
  • EuroEd Iași, Str Florilor, No. 1C (English, French, Italian, Spanish).

 

SELECTION CALENDAR:

  • 02/10/2018 – 17/10/2018: submitting the application files to the ERASMUS+ COORDINATOR;
  • 08.10.2018, 7:30 pm, Anatomy Lab: informative meeting with students interested in participating in the selection
  • 10/18/2018, 1:30 pm: interview in hall CM 2;1
  • 9/10/2018, 12.00: display of the results at the Faculty Secretariat;
  • 10/22/2018, 10, hall CM 2: informative meeting at the faculty with selected students.

!!!! Students with special needs will address the Erasmus+ Office for further information related to the funding regime for them and the caretakers, if applicable.
