Paul is a Senior Lecturer who has considerable experience within the higher education sector having previously been course leader for the Sport Management MSc programmes at University of Chester, at Northumbria University and now at University of Worcester. With a PhD in Strategic Marketing (from University of Manchester) and a MA in Leisure Management (from University of Sheffield), he has supervised PhD students on a variety of topics including surf brands, sport volunteers and sport tourism destinations and he has worked on collaborative and individual research publications and conference presentations. One of his key publications is the book titled “Sport Marketing” (published by Learning Matters) and is now available in Chinese.

Alex joined University of Worcester after having previously been lecturing at Northumbria University (in Newcastle upon Tyne/UK), Gateshead College Sports Academy (in Gateshead /UK) and at “Al. I. Cuza” University (from Iasi, Romania). Apart from teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level, he presented at international conferences and coached in various countries including Lithuania, Greece, Finland and Romania. He wrote three basketball books: “Basketball: A guide to skills, techniques and tactics”; “Basketball Coaching: putting theory into practice” and “The Science of Basketball”. As an active basketball coach, he worked with several teams including Romania U20 Women National Team, Romania Senior Women National Team, Wales Futures (U20 Men), Worcester Wolves professional team, University of Worcester Men and Cardiff Archers.
